Summary
The Broadway Bee is a hilarious virtual spelling bee competition between Broadway stars. The all-star cast of Broadway spellers include Sasha Hutchings (Hamilton), Seth Rudetsky (Stars in the House), Paige Davis (Chicago), Michael Park (Dear Evan Hansen), Jessie Hooker-Bailey (Waitress), Cody Jamison Strand (Book of Mormon), Susie Carroll (Mean Girls), Afra Hines (Summer: The Donna Summer Musical), and Lee Aaron Rosen (A Soldier’s Play). The replay will be accessible through the Vimeo link until December 20th.
Proceeds help Broadway Bound Kids counteract the losses from COVID-19 and continue to foster connection, community and creativity in youth around the country by providing them with equitable access to the arts.
P.S. Please note that though this event benefits kids, the show itself is geared towards adults, is mostly improvised and does have some adult language.
